Positron Emission Tomography (PET)

Positron Emission Tomography (PET) uses tiny amounts of radioactive materials called radiotracers, a camera, and a computer to examine organ and tissue functions.

QSFP+

QSFP or QSFP+ stands for Quad (4-channel) Small Form-factor Pluggable Optics Transceiver. It is a compact, hot-pluggable fiber optical transceiver used for 40 Gigabit Ethernet (40GbE) data communications applications.

QSFP28

QSFP28 is a hot-pluggable transceiver module designed for a 100G data rate. QSFP28 integrates 4 transmit and receiver channels. Here “28” means each lane carries up to 28G data rate.

Radiofrequency (RE)

Radiofrequency is the oscillation rate of an alternating electric current or voltage of a magnetic, electric, or electromagnetic field.

Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP)

Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) is an advanced version of STP, a layer two protocol that prevents bridge loops and broadcast storms in local networks with redundant connections.

RF (radiofrequency) Chipset

RF (radiofrequency) chipset is a small electronic device that transmits and receives radio signals between two devices.

Single-photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT-CT)

Single-photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT-CT) is a nuclear medicine tomographic imaging technique using gamma rays and can provide accurate 3D information.

SCART Technology

SCART (Syndicat des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radiorécepteurs et Téléviseurs) is a French-originated standard and associated 21-pin connector connecting audio-visual (AV) equipment.

Triadic Patent Families

A triadic patent family refers to a set of patents registered in various countries (i.e., patent offices) to protect the same invention. The three patent offices are the European Patent Office (EPO), the Japan Patent Office (JPO), and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Triadic patent families are attributed to the country of residence of the inventor.
